Black cat rubbing against my leg
Makes my hair stand on end
A screech owl screams in the dark woods
And the rusty old gate creaks in the wind
Terror rises like a pea green mist
Sickly oozing up from the damp earth
A dark shadow darts across the moon
The demons are out tonight

9 Little Bats

Nine little bats hanging in a cave
They all flew out and sat on my grave
One flittered up to the castle on the mount
Flew into the window and turned into the Count
“Can I make you a drink?” he asked with a grin
Then he took me by the neck and he put his fangs in
He drank of my blood ‘til his chin dripped red
Then he slithered off to his coffin bed
Leaving me filled with a nameless dread
My tormented soul will be forever undead
Nine little bats hanging in a cave
Flew out and sat on my empty grave

Goblins Dance
05:02
|
|

The goblins all dance round the fires at night
When the air gets cold and the moon is bright
The werewolves hide out in the deep dark woods
Waiting for little red riding hood
Out in the swamps, the banshees howl
The old witch laughs, the monsters prowl
Rising up from the earth, the dead men groan
The wind rattles the branches like skeleton bones
Best mind you’re not out walking alone
After dark in the woods on the long path home
You might just die of fright!
For it’s All Hallows’ Eve, the Devil’s delight

Don't Open that Door

“Don’t open that door!” she screamed at the screen
The seventeenth time she watched Halloween
The lights went out and the wind outside
Howled through the trees in the moonless night
The phone rang once and then it died
(The call was coming from inside!)
Down in the basement she heard a noise
She had to know, she had no choice
A knocking sound, a muffled voice
Under her feet and the creaky floor
And her hand reached out for the basement door…
We never see her around anymore
